Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993. She is also the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name is well-known for her pioneering modern research of eyewitness accounts from children's memories and also the application of child victims in court settings. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive She has also received a number of grants and is the recipient of many honors both national and internationally. She has consulted with various nations and organizations around the globe regarding policy and the research of child victimization in the court system. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice.
