Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, also referred to as Ashanti was born on October 13, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Ashanti became famous as a teenager and eventually signing with Murder Inc. Records in 2002. Ashanti was featured as The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's single, Always On Time as well as Fat Joe's What's luv?
