Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. This brought her some recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music more as a hobby than a profession. She started writing her own songs. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music in front of the public, but not so that she could be famous, but to let others know that they matter and how they can make a difference for the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and started writing songs by the time she was nine. The family members didn't know about it until she turned 14.
